We are happy to a share that we are settled into our new home located at 2340 State Route 26, Endicott located in the town of Maine. Our new location is a beautiful facility that we have been working on all winter. We were all able to put on our creative thinking caps and create a space that is beautiful and unique.
Most of the wood in our building interior was brought from the old Hillside Garden Center building, refinished and used to create our walls. The wood was originally from an old barn and it was fun and interesting to see the history in the boards. We sanded and stained the wood and used both the previously unfinished and painted boards to make one of a kind offices and landscape studio space. We love being able to bring some of our old home to our new home.
Outside we are planning on making many display areas. We are fortunate to have more space for planting on our new site. We plan on creating many display gardens featuring our favorite plants for landscaping. This way our customers will be able to see how the plants mature. How a plant will look in your garden in three years time (or more) is very different than how it looks in the nursery pot. We are excited to be able to show our customers what their plants will look like once they mature.
We will also be creating many hardscaping display areas. We will be able to showcase our work with natural stone and boulders, segmental paver and retaining wall systems and more. We will highlight our favorite hardscaping materials which compliment the plantings we create.
As we are settling into our new home we will feature our projects on our website and facebook pages – and here on our blog! We hope you enjoy the new Hillside Garden Landscaping facility as much as we do. We love landscaping the Southern Tier and know our new location will show our clients how even though we’ve moved to a new location…as always, “We’ve Got The Touch!”
